The Rotary Club of Lloydminster and the Border City Rotary Club recently heard from their incoming presidents during weekly meetings.
One point of business at the May 26 meeting of the Rotary Club of Lloydminster was the distribution of a trip and money. Brian Nicholl won a trip to Portugal, while Mike Sidoryk won the previous week’s draw for the cash prize. Both were on hand to receive their prizes.

The other portion of their meeting included hearing from incoming president Peter Brown.
The Border City Rotary Club also heard from incoming president Darrell Dunn during the May 27 meeting.
Dunn, whose wife noted he’s unenthusiastic about taking on the task, brought ideas about extended leadership terms, recruiting and community involvement.
One of his first tasks was building a list.
“I want to list all the projects Rotary has been a part of historically,” said Dunn. “Then pick two or three and find ways to expand on what we’ve done before.”
The Rotary Club of Lloydminster meets on Monday at the Lloyd Ex, while the Border City club meets Tuesday mornings at The Diner.
