A morning collision outside the Municipal District of Bonnyville killed one individual on June 24.
RCMP responded to a collision involving a semi-truck and an SUV at the corner of Hwy 659 and Hwy 657 east of Bonnyville at 6:35 a.m.

The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of RCMP collision analysts.
A social media post from the M.D. confirmed the victim was an employee of the municipality.
“Council and staff of the Municipal District of Bonnyville wish to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the fatal accident that occurred this morning, within the municipality,” stated the post.
The RCMP expects to provide more information on this collision.
