Residents in Lloydminster have a variety of events to look forward to in the coming weeks, from live entertainment to community fundraisers and recreational activities.

Bingo returns to Moose Lodge
Bingo nights are back at the Moose Lodge every Monday and Wednesday. Doors open at 5 p.m., with games starting at 7 p.m. Participants must be 18 or older.

Southridge Playschool registration open
The Southridge Playschool and Kindergym Society is now accepting registrations for the 2026-27 fall term. Programs are available for children ages three to five. One day per week is covered under a government affordability grant, while two days per week costs $325 for the full term. Morgan Wallen tribute show
A Morgan Wallen tribute act will take the stage at the Vic Juba Community Theatre on April 18 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 and available online or at the box office.

Islay Jamboree set for April 19
The Islay Community Hall will host a jamboree on April 19 beginning at 1 p.m. Admission is $15, while performers attend free. Lunch will be served. For more details, call 780-744-2204.

Girl Guides host recycling roundup and cookie drive
The Girl Guides of Lloydminster will hold an electronic recycling roundup and cookie drive on April 25 at the Lloyd Ex grounds from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds will support a planned trip to Europe in 2027.

Doubles cribbage tournament
The Legacy Centre will host a doubles cribbage tournament on April 22 starting at 10 a.m. Entry is $10, with lunch available for $12.

Ron James coming to Vic Juba stage
Canadian comedian Ron James will perform at the Vic Juba Community Theatre on April 28 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $81.25 and can be purchased online or at the box office.

Potters’ Guild spring sale
The Lloydminster Potters Guild will host its annual spring sale on May 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lloydminster Museum and Archives. Visitors can meet local artisans and shop a wide selection of handcrafted pottery.

Kenny Mac Band at Cheers Live
The Kenny Mac Band will perform at Cheers Live on May 9 at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. The band will play a mix of country, classic rock and original music.
