A spectacular grand entry at 7 p.m. on July 17 officially kicked off the 2026 Onion Lake powwow, drawing massive crowds to Heritage Park for a historic milestone celebration.
Despite forecasts calling for rain, the sun was shining and Heritage Park was hot with excitement.

The event took place from July 17-19, with grand entries on each day, along with competitions, vendors and more.
This year also marks 150 years of Treaty 6.
