Lions Park in Lloydminster was filled with some antique vehicles for the 2026 Lloydminster Auto Club Specialty Vehicle Show.

Warm, sunny conditions prevailed for the July 18 event with plenty to see.
“We have a good variety of vehicles here,” said Abe Whieler, founding member of the Lloydminster Auto Club.
He explained it all began with a simple desire, with the show and club entering their 48th year.
“It’s the interest of restoring the old original car and keeping it afloat, preserve the restoration,” he said.
There were car-related vendors set up, along with food and other things to take in.
“We have food, we have the museum, they’ve got the homemade ice cream, it is amazing,” Len Wegner, who’s also with the Lloydminster Auto Club said. “It’s a nice relaxing show.”
Crowd favourite vehicles would receive one of 10 $100 prizes.
“There’s some nice cars here,” Wegner said. “North Battleford Bent Rods came, Just Kruzin’ from Lloyd brought a bunch of cars.”
The Lloydminster Lion’s Club received a $1,500 donation thanks to the event.
