Three adults are facing charges following an attempted break-in at a local church last week, according to Battlefords RCMP.

Officers responded to a report of a potential break-and-enter at a church on Winder Crescent at about 11:10 p.m. on July 14.
Police arrested five suspects at the scene. Authorities said the suspects did not manage to gain entry to the building and no damage was reported.
During a search, officers seized an imitation firearm and weapons from one man, as well as weapons and bear spray from a woman.
Bridget Naytowhow, 26, of Saskatoon, has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to comply with an undertaking condition.
Darren Stanley, 29, of Wilkie, faces one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Dakota Desjarlais, 26, of Saskatoon, is charged with possession of break-in instruments.
The other two individuals arrested at the scene were released without charges.
“Thanks to the quick response and proactive police work of our officers and assistance from the public, we were able to intervene before a break and enter occurred,” Staff Sgt. Bryce Pender said in a release.
“Their vigilance not only prevented further property crime, but also allowed us to hold those responsible accountable.”
All three accused are scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Sept. 28.
