The Great Cycle Challenge is an annual fundraiser supporting children fighting cancer. Now in his 12th year fundraising for the charity, Russell is excited for the return of the glow ride for a second year.

Since starting his journey 12 years ago, Russell has pedalled more than 12,000 kilometres and raised over $300,000. A survivor of childhood cancer himself, he knows first-hand how important initiatives like this are.
The Aug. 19 event at the park shelter invites participants to bike, walk or run. Check-in starts at 9 p.m. and the ride kicks off at 9:45 p.m. Come out and show Russell you back his mission with a fun night on the trails.
Having known Russell for a number of years, his commitment to the cause never ceases to amaze me.
The Meridian Source will be there to capture the excitement, and we hope to see you all there!
