A 51-year-old Lloydminster man is facing charges following a break and enter at the Border City’s Royal Canadian Legion #39 last week.

Lloydminster RCMP responded to reports of the break-in on Aug. 19. With assistance from the RCMP Forensic Identification Section, police reviewed security footage and identified a suspect, who was subsequently located and arrested.
During the arrest, officers also executed an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court related to charges of possession of property obtained by crime.
Conrad Girouard, 51, of Lloydminster, has been charged with break and enter as well as mischief under $5,000.
Girouard was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. He was scheduled to appear in Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Aug. 24.
