Residents in Lloydminster may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and hear site alarms near the Cenovus refinery on Wednesday, Oct. 7, as Cenovus Energy conducts a planned training exercise.

The company stated the emergency exercise at the Lloydminster Refinery is designed to test and strengthen response procedures and co-ordination.
