The Bunge Prairie Pinnacle and SaskTel Tankard will bring the province’s best women’s and men’s curling teams to the Cenovus Energy Hub at the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre from Jan. 11 to 17, 2027.
The championships are being hosted by the Lloydminster Curling Club and presented by CURLSASK, with teams battling for provincial titles and a shot at representing Saskatchewan on the national stage.
Early-bird full-event passes are priced at $180 and available through Nov. 22, giving fans access to both championships for the entire week of competition.
When organizers first confirmed the Border City as host back in May, they promised more than just elite curling on the ice. That announcement, covered in Provincial curling elite to pack Lloydminster’s new Hub, outlined plans for family-friendly activities, youth engagement opportunities and interactive fan experiences alongside the on-ice action.
The Lloydminster Curling Club is now turning its attention to the logistics of hosting a provincial championship. Volunteer recruitment and sponsorship opportunities are part of the preparations already underway, organizers say, as the club works alongside CURLSASK to deliver the week-long event.
For curling fans across both sides of the border, it’s a rare chance to see Saskatchewan’s best rinks compete without leaving town. For local businesses, it’s a week that promises to fill hotel rooms and restaurant tables with visiting athletes, coaches, officials and spectators from across the province.
Tickets can be purchased online, HERE, with the $180 early-bird rate available until Nov. 22. After that date, prices are expected to increase as the championships draw closer.
