It was an enchanting weekend at the WLS Convention Centre as the Mystic Moonlight Market and Psychic Fair hosted its fifth event.

This year, however, was the first year the event was hosted at the convention centre.
“This is such a beautiful venue. It’s very warm, inviting, the energy is perfect,” said Tammy Hope Gray, co-organizer and owner of The Crystal Emporium.
Most recently, the event was held at the Nissan Hall, but as the community grew, so did the need for additional space.
“The community keeps growing. This is what this is about,” she said. “It’s about expanding people’s gifts out to everyone.”
The market, which ran from April 10-12, kicked off its first night with vendor setup and a drum circle.
“There’s a lot of healing that goes on in that drumming circle. If you’ve ever been part of that, you know the beats of a drum can seriously heal,” said Gray.
While various vendors were on hand selling products, the psychic readings proved to be a major draw for the three-day event.
“You’re going to see all types of readers. Tarot readers, oracle readers, tea leaf readers, channellers, mediums, all kinds of different types of readers,” she said.
Presentations were also taking place throughout the event.
“We have market talks going on over the weekend,” said Gray. “Every 45 minutes we’ll have a new talk and there’ll be different topics. We have a list of those posted on the boards around.”
She says they continued to host a scavenger hunt, which has been a big success.
“That’s the game we started last market and it took off.”
