Community Events Calendar
- Mondays and Wednesdays: Bingo at Moose Lodge — Bingo is back at the Lloydminster Moose Lodge every Monday and Wednesday evening. Doors open at 5 p.m. and play begins at 7 p.m. Players must be 18 years of age or older.
- Thursdays: Chair Yoga — Alcurve Community Hall hosts chair yoga sessions every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $15 for drop-ins or $50 per month. For more details, call or text Deb at 780-808-0015.
- July 23: Crib Tourney — The Legacy Centre is hosting a cribbage tournament starting at 10 a.m. The cost is $10 to play and $12 for lunch per person.
- July 23-24: Legacy Centre Overnight Trip — The Legacy Centre is hosting an overnight trip to Regina for the Saskatchewan Roughriders versus Edmonton Elks CFL game. Limited spots are available. Call the Legacy office at 780-875-4584 for more details.
- July 29: Legacy Centre Pub Night — A pub night will be held at the Legacy Centre. Doors open and dancing begins at 5 p.m., supper is at 6 p.m., and more dancing will follow. Cost is $25 per person at the door. All members and guests are welcome.
- Aug. 29: Von Bieker at Vic Juba — The Government of Alberta, City of Lloydminster and Vic Juba Community Theatre present Von Bieker at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free, but seating is reserved. Tickets can be reserved online.
- Sept. 23: The Hip Experience — Canada’s premier tribute to The Tragically Hip returns to the Vic Juba Community Theatre for a 7:30 p.m. show. Tickets are $40.
- Oct. 1: Menopause the Musical — The Vic Juba Community Theatre presents the Dr. H.A. McDonald Season production of Menopause the Musical at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $70.
- Oct. 5: Elton John Tribute — Electric Elton, celebrating the music and legacy of Elton John, comes to the Vic Juba Community Theatre at 7 p.m. Tickets are $69.
- Oct. 8: Elvis and Dolly Tribute — Elvis and Dolly: Blue Suede and Rhinestones hits the stage at the Vic Juba Community Theatre. Tickets are $60.25.
- Fall 2026-27 Term: Southridge Playschool Registration — Registration is now open for the Southridge Playschool and Kindergym Society for children aged three to five. One day a week is covered by a government affordability grant, and a two-day-a-week program is $325 for the entire term.
