Co-op gas bars across Western Canada are celebrating a decade of community support today as the annual Fuel Good Day returns for its 10th anniversary.

Participating local Co-ops will donate a minimum of five cents per litre of fuel sold throughout the day to registered charities and non-profit organizations within their local communities.
The initiative has raised more than $5.6 million for thousands of local causes since launching in 2017, including a record-breaking $795,000 generated during last year’s campaign alone.
“We’re so grateful to be celebrating ten years of Fuel Good Day,” said Heather Ryan, chief executive officer of Federated Co-operatives Limited. “Fuel Good Day is a testament to the kindness of Co-op members and customers across the Co-operative Retailing System. For a decade, they’ve generously showed up and helped fuel their community, simply by fuelling their vehicles.”
