The single-day event will gather top talent from across the league’s 12 teams for a showcase designed to highlight player skill, engage local fans, and showcase the city’s new venue.
“The Lloydminster Bobcats organization is thrilled to host the return of the AJHL All-Star event,” said Nigel Dube, general manager of the Bobcats. “This is a prestigious event for our league and an incredible opportunity to showcase everything Lloydminster and the Border City have to offer.”
Dube noted the event will also give local minor hockey players and area fans an up-close look at the league’s top talent competing in the new facility.

Event programming includes opportunities for minor hockey players to skate alongside all-stars, an autograph session featuring representatives from every AJHL franchise, and a multi-camera broadcast with interactive on-ice interviews.
All proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit the Team Peyton Trust Fund.
AJHL Commissioner Ryan Bartoshyk highlighted the community’s hockey culture and venue capabilities as key factors in the selection.
“The Border City’s deep-rooted passion for Junior A hockey, combined with the impressive atmosphere at the Cenovus Energy Hub, makes this the perfect stage to honour our players,” Bartoshyk said.
Ticketing details and the complete event schedule will be announced at a later date.
