A company statement noted the commercial cardlock has reopened for business. However, the popular restaurant, shower service and the convenience store remain closed.

“We continue to address the gas smell at the Lloydminster Travel Centre. As such, the retail fuelling area, convenience store and restaurant remain closed,” stated Cenovus officials. “We have been able to safely re-open the cardlock area, which customers are welcome to use.”

No timeline for the reopening of the rest of the facility was provided.
