It frequently displayed the status of most of the STARS missions to the public in near real time.
STARS provided a statement on the situation noting they’re working to get services up and running.
“We appreciate the patience of the media and the general public as we work towards restoring publicly available mission updates following issues with our Twitter/X account earlier this summer,” stated Blake Robert, STARS public affairs manager. “The account has been secured, and we are currently working with our IT and dispatch teams to update systems and processes so that we can once again post mission notifications on our Twitter/X account.
“As soon as we are able to resume mission notifications, we will announce it through our Twitter/X account.”
STARS has control of the account however, there’s no set date for the social media services to resume.
