On July 7 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP, along with the Lloydminster Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services, attended a serious collision involving a pedestrian, power pole and a motor vehicle, on 51 Ave. and 50 Street.
The intersection was closed while a RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstruction Analyst attended to investigate. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious physical non-life threatening.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. No further updates will be provided on this matter.
Lloydminster RCMP would like to thank citizens for avoiding the area while first responders investigated, and their patience’s during the road closures.
