Ed lived in the Spiritwood, Saskatchewan area until 1955. He then moved to Riverhurst, Saskatchewan to farm and was a “real cowboy”. He received his schooling in Spiritwood and Riverhurst. Ed’s family moved to Willowbrooke, Saskatchewan where Ed farmed and did a lot of different work. There, he met and married his first wife, they had two daughters, Tammy and Tracey.
After their divorce, he moved to Yorkton, Saskatchewan and Ebenezer, Saskatchewan, and trucked on and off all of his life. He then met his second wife, Lorraine who brought her daughter, Laurie and her granddaughter, Kori to the family. Ed drove a cab in the winter and also did road construction in the summer.
They moved to Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, where he became District Manager for the Edmonton Sun for fourteen years. We then bought a laundromat: E.T. Enterprise Laundry. Ed loved to tinker with the washers and dryers for fourteen years.

Then Tara had Ed’s great grandkids, Avalon, Avery and Sawyer. Then we sold the lake house and bought a motorhome. We became snowbirds at Osoyoos, British Columbia for the winter making Red Deer, Alberta our permanent home where all the kids were. Ed got sick in December, and then suffered a heart attack and four strokes.
