Brian Coupal
The family of Brian Coupal of Brightsand Lake, Saskatchewan is saddened to announce the passing of Brian on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 at the Lloydminster hospital.
Brian fought a brave battle with pancreatic cancer for the past year, spending time in both Saskatoon and Lloydminster hospitals, but was called home to rest leaving a huge loss for his family and many friends.
Brian loved lake life and everything that came with it from golfing to fishing to working around the yard to which he spent hours making their yard look so beautiful. He loved when the great nieces or nephews or other young family members came for their ice cream cones to which he scooped with a smile, not sure they ever counted to see how many pails of ice cream him and Carole went through in a summer. He had a fondness for kids and they swarmed to him, he loved giving them attention and could never say no when they asked him if he would take them fishing.
Brian is predeceased by his parents Roger and Dorothy, his sister Sousan Auger, his nieces Melissa and Samantha, his in-laws Annie and Ed Funk, his brother-in-laws Garth Ross, and Garth Youngblood.
Brian is survived by his loving wife Carole, Caroles son Chad along with his children Chad and Celine of Edmonton, Carter and Janice along with Carters stepchildren and Janice and Janices children Trista (Keira) Robinson and their children Cade and Maya of Saskatoon and Justin (Kim) and their children Nate and Ada of Lloydminster. Brian also leaves to mourn his brothers Wayne (Johanne), David (Linda), and Denis (Brent) along with his sister Debbie Boudreau, Brians Dads wife Huguette, brother-in-law Chuck Auger, brother-in-law Keith (Marlene) Youngblood, and several nieces and nephews and their children.
Brian was loved by all and will be missed by many.
