Township Road 470 about 30 kilometres south of Lloydminster remains closed after a mid-morning plane crash.
Firefighters from Vermillion River, Legacy and Paradise Valley remain on scene.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has released the following deployment order.
“The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying a team of investigators following an aircraft accident near Lloydminster, Alberta. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence,” said the organization.
Officials on scene could not confirm the condition of anyone on board and expect to be on scene for many hours.
