Onion Lake RCMP confirmed 36-year-old Matthew Wade Carter is dead.
Carter’s family has been notified. Victim services is working with the family.
After their initial investigation, Onion Lake RCMP believe Carter’s death is not suspicious in nature.

Onion Lake RCMP is searching for a missing 36-year-old man.
Matthew Wade Carter was last seen at a residence on Onion Lake Cree Nation on Sept. 7.
Carter is described as 6’2”, 260 lbs with brown eyes, short black hair and glasses. Carter is known to wear dark-coloured clothing, but current attire is unknown.
He is known to travel to the Edmonton and Lloydminster areas but current whereabouts are unknown.
