According to Environment Canada, Lloydminster is under a snowfall warning this morning (Nov. 22).
The weather service states Lloyd will see long periods of snowfall with 20 to 30 cm expected.
Snowfall will begin tonight and intensify Saturday morning. A total of 20 to 30 cm is expected by Sunday morning.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Environment Canada recommends postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
