The Holy Rosary High School Raiders have an open-door policy for their 3rd Annual Farmers Market.

The event will feature 32 vendors selling handmade and creative products. It’s open to everyone in the community and runs from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on May 22.

“There’s a lot of really cool different stuff,” said Grade 12 student and vendor Goodness Kuto. “Come support. It’ll be really fun to see everyone.”

Kuto, who runs “Goodness Crochets,” says selling her work has taught her a lot.

“I’ve learned to respect the amount of time people put into their stuff,” she said. “And just how creative everyone can be.”

The event will include food, face painting, arts and crafts, pottery, and more. Nail art and hair tinsel will also be available.

Holy Rosary student Cassie Cameron will sing live throughout the afternoon and evening.

The market is set up at the front of the school. If it’s too cold, the event will move indoors.

“It’s just really fun,” said Kuto. “You get to see all the different things people make.”

Meanwhile, she hopes the community comes out to support student work.
“It’s important to appreciate the time and effort they put in,” she said.

The Lloydminster Catholic School Division invites people of all ages to attend the free event.
