“A third-alarm response was dispatched (on May 29) for a confirmed structure fire,” read a City of Lloydminster news release. “A total of 14 personnel (were) on scene.”

The original call came in at 1:19 p.m. and crews remained on scene for about an hour and a half.

“While returning to Station No. 1 following the call, crews observed smoke near the hospital,” said the city. “Within 30 seconds, they responded and were on scene at the hospital to find multiple vehicles on fire and some grass in the parking lot.”

The Lloydminster Fire Department reminds the public to report any sightings of fire or smoke quickly by calling 911.
