Second place went to Stanchuck Trucking, who once again doubled as the supper sponsor this year. A team from the club tied with Darryle Oster and his team for third.

“We should clear approximately $5,500,” said Lion Shelley Tatro. “This will help fund our Lions’ projects such as the emergency funding for evacuees from the fires up north, diabetes research and dog guides.”

The club also thanked various sponsors for stepping up again this year.

The Lloydminster Region Health Foundation sponsored lunch and hole sponsors included Exhaust Masters, Titus Tools, Musgrave Agencies, Bexson Construction, Betz Henderson, WFG, Border Inn and Suites, Bioclean Disaster Services and Classic Oilfield.

The club’s next event will feature a Crown and Anchor wheel at the Lloyd Ex Fair before its annual Medieval Feast at the Kitscoty Hall on Sept. 27. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the club.
