Vermilion RCMP arrested Keisha Sharp, 28, of Mannville, after connecting her to several break-ins in Vermilion River County.
The first occurred on June 7 in the rural area surrounding Mannville, Alta.

Mounties said a home alarm system with cameras alerted the homeowner to the break-in. When officers arrived, the suspect had already left the scene. Police, however, reviewed the video and identified the suspect.
On June 11, RCMP responded to two more break-ins at a single residence in Mannville. An investigation linked the suspect to the June 7 incident.
Sharp faces multiple charges, including three counts of break and enter, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of mischief under $5,000.
This is not Sharp’s first encounter with the law, as she faced multiple charges stemming from a search of a residence in the County of Vermilion River in April 2023.
A Justice of the Peace released her with conditions. She is set to appear in Vermilion court on July 7.
“We would like to take the time to thank the public in trusting us with their safety,” said Sgt. Corey Buckingham, commander of the Vermilion RCMP.
“Thanks to calls from the public, as well as access to their installed security equipment, we were able to conduct the arrest of someone trying to break into the homes of those within our community.”
