Investigators have identified a suspect and filed criminal charges following the suspected abduction of a 30-year-old woman early Monday morning.

Saskatchewan RCMP say Nikita Sim was reportedly taken from a residence near Makwa Lake at about 12:45 a.m. on July 13. Police are still searching for her to confirm her safety.
As a result of ongoing investigation, police are now searching for 31-year-old Kevin Ross Watt, who faces charges of kidnapping with a firearm and failing to comply with an undertaking condition.
Police warn the public not to approach Watt if he is spotted.
Watt is described as five-foot-eleven and 198 pounds, with blue eyes and short brown hair. Investigators say he is known to travel to the Loon Lake, Lloydminster, St. Walburg and Maidstone areas.
Authorities believe Watt and Sim may be travelling in a grey 2009 Chevrolet Impala with Saskatchewan licence plate 402 NRJ. The vehicle has a damaged windshield and a damaged front bumper. Its current direction of travel is unknown.
Sim is described as five-foot-one and 121 pounds, with brown eyes and long brown hair.

The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Battlefords Serious Crimes Unit has taken over the case.
