What’s On in Lloydminster: Upcoming local events and entertainment

From high-octane tribute shows and local theatre to weekly bingo and community fitness, there’s no shortage of ways to stay entertained across Lloydminster in the coming weeks.

Here is a look at what’s happening in the region.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays — Bingo at Moose Lodge: Bingo runs every Monday and Wednesday evening at the Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5 p.m. and play begins at 7 p.m. Players must be 18 or older to attend.

  • Thursdays — Chair Yoga at Alcurve: Alcurve Community Hall hosts chair yoga sessions every Thursday starting at 10:30 a.m. Admission is $15 for drop-ins or $50 for a monthly pass. For more information, call or text Deb at 780-808-0015.  

  • Fall 2026–27 Term — Southridge Playschool Registration: Registration is open for the upcoming term with the Southridge Playschool and Kindergym Society for children ages three to five. One day per week is covered by a provincial government affordability grant, while two days per week costs $325 for the entire term.   • July 29 — Legacy Centre Pub Night: The Legacy Centre holds a pub night on July 29. Doors open and dancing begins at 5 p.m., followed by supper at 6 p.m. and additional dancing. Tickets are $25 per person at the door. All members and guests are welcome.  

  • Aug. 29 — Von Bieker at Vic Juba: Presented by the Government of Alberta, the City of Lloydminster and the Vic Juba Community Theatre, performer Von Bieker takes the stage Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, but reserved seating is required.  

  • Sept. 23 — The Hip Experience: Canada’s Premier Tribute to The Tragically Hip returns to the Vic Juba Community Theatre on Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.

  • Oct. 1 — Menopause the Musical: As part of the Dr. H.A. McDonald Season, the Vic Juba Community Theatre presents Menopause the Musical on Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $70.

  • Oct. 3 — PWR/UP (AC/DC Tribute): AC/DC tribute act PWR/UP performs at the Vic Juba Community Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the theatre box office.

  • Oct. 5 — Electric Elton: Celebrating the music and legacy of Elton John, Electric Elton comes to the Vic Juba Community Theatre on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $69.

  • Oct. 8 — Elvis and Dolly Tribute: Elvis and Dolly: Blue Suede and Rhinestones hits the stage at the Vic Juba Community Theatre on Oct. 8. Tickets are $60.25.
