The Lloydminster Twins reached the semifinals in the Baseball Alberta 15U AA Tier 8 provincials last weekend at Morinville.

In their final-four matchup, the top-seeded Twins dropped a 16-12 decision to the eventual gold-medallists, the second-ranked Morinville Brewers.
The host Brewers went on to defeat the No. 5 MCHA Athletics 15-14 in the championship game of the six-team tournament.
The Athletics, based in Czar, clipped the fourth-ranked Drayton Valley Giants 17-3 in their semifinal.
Lloydminster defeated the sixth-seeded Lacombe Dodgers White 10-9 on Saturday night to gain a berth in Sunday’s semifinals.
In their opening game Friday evening, the Twins lost 20-12 to Drayton Valley.
