Locals looking for holistic alternatives and natural lifestyle solutions gathered at the Lloyd Ex for the latest Health and Wellness Show, organized by Bizy Bee Planner owner Melissa Winter.

Hosted at the newly rebranded Wildrose Pavilion, the biannual event featured a full house of 44 vendor tables, offering everything from homemade jams, preserves and jewelry to specialized wellness practices such as Reiki, massage therapy and light therapy.
Winter started organizing the shows in 2024 and has since expanded them into regular spring and fall installments. She said her motivation stems from a desire to provide the community with accessible options for personal health.
“I do it because instead of going to the doctor for everything, I always feel there’s other solutions, rather than going to the doctor and taking pills,” Winter said. “I planned this event to get other solutions to help your health and also to help people live chemical-free and lead a better, healthier life.”
The showcase drew a mix of local exhibitors alongside out-of-town vendors traveling from across Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Community outreach was also a key component of the event, with local non-profit organizations, including the Lloydminster Sexual Assault Centre and Thorpe Recovery Centre, on hand to provide resources.
Despite some initial venue confusion among attendees due to the building’s recent name change from Nissan Hall back to the Wildrose Pavilion, foot traffic remained steady throughout the day, recording around 120 visitors by mid-afternoon.
Looking ahead, Winter plans to continue hosting the health and wellness showcase alongside her other local community markets, with the next edition slated for April at the Lloyd Ex.
