Triple murder investigation continues in Lloydminster

For three months, authorities have provided little news about the triple murder in our community.

On Dec. 12, RCMP K division public relations Const. Cory Riggs was able to provide a statement in relation to the investigation.

Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are actively investigating (the homicide). There are 9 officers from MCU; Criminal Analysts, Digital Forensics and Forensic Labs are also assisting,” stated Riggs. “There remains no risk to public safety.”

On Sept. 11, at approximately 5 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP and multiple specialty units responded to a call at a home in the northeast of Lloydminster.

The landowners have since demolished the home at the corner of 47 Ave and 50 St.

The following week, the RCMP provided the names of the individuals murdered: Brent, Matthew, and Brennan Peters.

Updates will be provided when they become available.
