If someone from Lloydminster wins the VIP prize package for two tickets to Blake Shelton’s, ‘Back to the Honky Tonk Tour’ in Edmonton, they might want to head there in a Kubota.
Kubota Canada is sponsoring the country music star’s tour and has launched a concert sweepstakes to provide customers and fans the chance to experience an exclusive experience at Shelton’s March 8 show in Edmonton.
Each ticket prize package will include two VIP barstool tickets, two round-trip plane tickets, hotel accommodations, a $500 Visa gift card and Kubota gear.
Rick Allan, branch manager of the Lloydminster Kubota dealership at Tingley’s Harvest Centre says he’s a 100 per cent country music fan but if he had a ticket, he would send an employee to the concert instead of himself.
He’s also pleased to hear Shelton continues to pitch Kubota as an equipment customer himself. Shelton owns a Kubota M7 tractor and an older L series tractor.
“Wherever I am, when I’m on my Kubota, I know I’m in ‘God’s Country,’” said Shelton in a statement.
“Whether you’re at work or play, Kubota has equipment that’s just right for you. I’m thrilled they’re joining us for another round of my ‘Back To The Honky Tonk Tour.’”
Steve Sweetnam, marketing director, Kubota Canada, said in a statement, the superstar “counts on Kubota equipment at home on his farm and now he can count on Kubota to be with him on the road as he heads ‘Back To The Honky Tonk.’”
“We’re looking forward to joining Blake on the second leg of his tour for his Canadian stops,” said Sweetnam.
The 17-date tour includes three stops in Canada – March 7, in Saskatoon, SK, March 8 in Edmonton, AB and March 9 in Calgary, AB.
The event features platinum-selling, eight-time chart-topping recording artist Dustin Lynch and rising country artist Emily Ann Roberts, who was a member of Team Blake on the ninth season of NBC’s “The Voice”.

Kubota Canada is one of the country’s leading tractor and compact equipment distributors with a Kubota for every use available at the Lloydminster dealership.
“We’ve got it in the farming, we’ve got it in the lawn garden and RTVs for play; it’s used for construction. It’s a well-rounded product,” said Allan.
Tingley’s Kubota also sells JCBs and Claas equipment.
