Booth: It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Brent Charles Booth who passed away at Lloydminster Hospital on January 25, 2024 at the age of 58. Brent was born on November 15, 1965 to Edgar and Shirley Booth of Streamstown, AB. He was a kind, caring and hardworking son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Brent attended school in Kitscoty for grades 1 through 12. He attended NAIT and completed a course in survey technology, then worked in the survey industry for 36 years. Brent loved to farm. He was proud to see the family farm continue to grow. It was gratifying for him to see his nephews continue this tradition. Brent loved technology, gadgets and trying new things. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a great eye for taking photos. Brent rode motorcycles all his life. He owned several and did a bit of touring. He really enjoyed baseball and hockey – being a strong supporter of Toronto Blue Jays and Edmonton Oilers. Brent has 5 nieces and nephews and he took a great interest in all their activities. He was always easy going and they enjoyed teasing and goofing off with him. Haley, Austyn and Allison are really grateful they had the opportunity to plant a garden at the farm with Brent the last few summers. Philip and Russel will really miss Brent’s willingness to help no matter when or where it was required. Brent is survived by: his mother, Shirley Booth; brothers, Philip Booth and Russel (Carolyn) Booth; sister, Allison (Larry) Fallscheer; nephews, Ross Fallscheer, Paul Booth, Craig Booth (Hunter); nieces, Haley Fallscheer (Blake), Kristin Booth (Dallas); great niece, Austyn Ross; and numerous cousins. Brent was predeceased by his father, Edgar Booth; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations in memory of Brent may be made to Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. We want to thank Brent’s friends who visited him in the hospital, all the people who sent messages or phoned, the food and flowers – it meant a lot to us. We are thankful for the exceptional care Brent received at the hospital. Every nurse and doctor showed such compassion and skill and respect for Brent.
