The Lloydminster Interval Home Society has received a donation from the RONA Foundation’s build from the Heart campaign.
The donation of $50,000 will go to help the Lloydminster Interval Home Society with renovations to improve service.
“The Lloydminster Interval Home Society is so grateful to the RONA Foundation’s Build from the Heart Program for this much needed contribution to our transitional housing facility,” said Tara Lawrence, Director of community programs. “This project helps us provide safety, support and a sense of home to the women and children that live there.”
The home society provides short and long term accommodations for women victims of domestic violence and their children.
A total of $1 million is awarded this year to seven non-profit organizations to support their projects through the RONA Foundation’s campaign.
