Lloydminster RCMP responded to an alarm at a south-side cannabis store early on Nov. 26. Officers discovered the store had been broken into, with $15,000 worth of items stolen.
However, later that day, police executed a search warrant at a residence on 49th Avenue. They arrested a 17-year-old male and recovered stolen property.
The youth faces several charges, including Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000. Moreover, He also faces eight charges of failing to comply with court orders.
Additionally, police presented the accused to a Justice of the Peace, who released him on a Release Order. He is set to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice on Dec. 3, 2024.
This investigation involved several RCMP units, resulting in a swift resolution and recovery of stolen property.
