Saskatchewan RCMP say there’s an increased police presence in the Onion Lake Cree Nation.
According to RCMP, it’s due to an ongoing investigation. People are asked to avoid the areas where officers are present and to follow any police direction provided.
Updates will be issued on the investigation when they are available.
Police did not say if there was a risk to the public rather stating, “If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.”
