The Lloydminster Bandits are back on home ice this Sunday to host the Killam Wheat Kings.
Playing out of the North Eastern Alberta Jr. B Hockey League (NEAJBHL), the Bandits find themselves in a tight points race to start the new year.
The Bandits (18-4-1) have 37 points after 23 games this season and are one point behind the Wainwright Bisons (19-5-0). The Bandits face the Bisons at the Provost Regional Activity Centre on Jan. 4 before returning to the Civic Centre on Jan. 5.
The Bandits host the Onion Lake Border Chiefs on Jan. 10 before travelling to Vegreville on Jan. 11. Friday’s home game starts at 7:30 p.m.
