Conservative Party of Canada incumbent, Rosemarie Falk, is focused on the economy, energy and rural life this election.
Falk, who represents the Battlefords–Lloydminster–Meadow Lake riding, says the Liberals and NDP have failed rural Canadians.
“A Conservative government will unleash the full potential of Canada’s energy sector, including right here in Battlefords-Lloydminster-Meadow Lake,” said Falk.

Falk promises to cut red tape and fast-track energy projects. She also plans to “eliminate the industrial carbon tax” and shorten approval times for major projects to just six months.
“We will repeal Bill C-69, the No New Pipelines Law and C-48 – the Tanker Ban,” she said.
Indigenous affairs and farming
Falk wants to see real Indigenous economic change and supports the First Nations Resource Charge.
“Conservatives will fight for real economic reconciliation,” she said. “Putting First Nations back in control of their money and lives.”
Additionally, Falk warns against Liberal policies led by people like Prime Minister Mark Carney.
“Mark Carney pushes a radical ‘keep-it-in-the-ground’ agenda,” said Falk. “It would plunge Canada into a permanent recession.”
On farming, Falk is clear. Farmers need respect and real support.
“Liberals did everything in their power to keep their punishing carbon tax on farmers,” explained Falk. “We will permanently scrap the punishing carbon tax—for everyone, for good … we will champion Canadian agriculture abroad and work to diversify international markets.”
Youth employment and health care
For young workers, Falk promises growth and training and wants to restore the $4,000 apprenticeship grants.
“We will train 350,000 new apprentices over the next five years,” she said.
Health care is a top concern, too.
The Conservatives want to help doctors and nurses work across Canada and speed up certification for immigrants, which could help interprovincial trade and labour movement.
“Conservatives will introduce a Blue Seal Professional Licensing Standard,” said Falk. “Our commitment to tackling interprovincial trade barriers will strengthen the economy.”
However, the top concern Falk’s hearing from voters? Affordability.
“Food inflation has hit a 50-year high, housing costs have doubled,” she said, noting she backs strong tax cuts and pledges to help seniors.
“We will cut income taxes by 15 per cent for the average Canadian worker … (Conservatives) will fix the federal budget,” said Falk. “We will put seniors back in control of their retirements by lowering their taxes.”
Crime and conclusion
On crime, Falk supports stronger penalties, including jail not bail by repealing Bill C-75. She also backs victims’ rights.
“Consecutive sentences for multiple murderers” and “the strictest conditions for intimate partner violence” are part of her platform.
Finally, Falk says it’s time for change.
“It’s time to bring home our resource jobs,” she said. “Rebuild our economy and give the next generation a real shot at success.”
