Nearly six months after being charged, Aaron Foster, 42, of Lloydminster, still hasn’t appeared in court to make a plea.
The court case for the former LMHA board member has again been adjourned.
A Lloydminster RCMP investigation found Foster allegedly stole over $300,000 from the association through fraud and theft over the five-year period from 2019-2024.

He was to appear on May 6 to face charges.
According to court records, Foster’s lawyer again asked for an adjournment on the case.
It was granted, and he is to appear now on May 20.
On more than one occasion, his lawyer has requested an adjournment for various reasons.
Foster’s original court date to face charges was Jan. 28.
The charges are as follows:
- One count of fraud over $5,000
- One count theft over $5,000
- One count of false statement
- One count of criminal breach
May 20 will be his seventh opportunity to submit a plea to the court on the charges.

I wish that the theft (almost $100,00) from the Lloydminster Legion several years ago had been investigated and newsworthy as this story!!!! The Legion almost had to close and no one was ever charged!!
