An afternoon collision closed a southbound section of College Drive on June 18.
At 4:59 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP, as well as Medavie West Paramedics and the Lloydminster Fire Department, received reports of an accident on College Drive.
Police report a two-vehicle incident occurred involving a blue truck and white car. It happened between 36 St. and 43 St. in the southbound lane.

Eyewitnesses reported the white car was travelling at a high rate of speed before hitting the curb and ending up on the grass.
Emergency services personnel shut down the lanes for approximately 45 minutes while the incident was investigated and cleared.
There was damage to the light standard in the area. Police report no injuries from the incident.
