Seafood lovers can get ready to crack into a local tradition as the Rotary Club of Lloydminster hosts its 46th annual Lobsterfest this weekend.

The popular community fundraiser will take place on Saturday, May 23 at the WLS Convention Centre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with a steak and live lobster dinner served between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
In addition to the feast, the evening features live entertainment starting at 8:30 p.m., featuring performances by country artist Jordyn Pollard and the Dirt Rich Band. Attendees are encouraged to dress casually and are reminded to bring their own lobster crackers and picks.
Tickets for the event are $100 per person. Proceeds from the evening will support the Rotary Club’s various community and international service projects.
Organizers note that no outside food or beverages are permitted at the venue.
