On June 22, eHealth Saskatchewan announced it will begin mailing out renewal stickers in mid-September to anyone currently eligible for provincial health coverage. Current health cards are set to expire at the end of 2026.
Officials say anyone who has moved or experienced a change in family status within the last three years must update their information with Health Registries to ensure their packages arrive at the correct address.
Key updates that must be reported include:
- New residential or mailing addresses
- Changes in family structure, including marriage, divorce, or the addition and removal of dependents
Residents who have already updated their information through the province’s Express Address service and selected eHealth do not need to take further action.
The upcoming renewal stickers will extend current health cards and provincial medical coverage until Dec. 31, 2029. eHealth is advising residents to affix the stickers to their cards as soon as they arrive in the mail, warning that individuals with expired cards could be billed for medical services.
Information updates can be completed online by visiting ehealthsask.ca.
