A 21-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a homicide in North Battleford.

Saskatchewan RCMP say Tyson Cummer was arrested May 2 at a residence in Cut Knife following a joint operation involving the RCMP’s homicide investigation unit, crime reduction team and Cut Knife detachment.
Police say Cummer was wanted in relation to a murder that occurred April 28 in North Battleford.
He is charged with one count of second-degree murder under Section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
Cummer was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in North Battleford provincial court on May 4 at 2 p.m.
