The Lloydminster RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a pedestrian died following an early morning hit-and-run on Monday.

Officers responded to a report of a person lying in the roadway in the area of 49 Ave. by the Olympia Plaza at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 7. Emergency services transported the injured individual to hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Investigators say they have identified a suspect vehicle and driver, but the investigation remains ongoing.
Police are asking anyone who was near 49 Ave. and Highway 16 around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 7 and may have dashcam or security camera footage to contact the Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400.
