A 40-year-old local man is facing a second-degree murder charge following a fatal targeted shooting in Lloydminster on Monday morning.

Lloydminster RCMP responded at 11:09 a.m. on Sept. 21 to reports of shots fired in the area of 50 Ave. and 47 St.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Lloydminster resident Nolan Whitestone, was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators with the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit identified a suspect after analyzing scene footage. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Randy Lysohirka, 40, of Lloydminster.
Police say Lysohirka remains at large and is believed to be armed with a firearm. Members of the public are warned not to approach him.
Lysohirka is described as having a light complexion, standing 5-foot-7, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
