Lloydminster RCMP is advising the public to avoid the area of 50 Ave. and 47 St. following a targeted shooting Monday morning.

Mounties say initial information indicates shots were fired in the area on Sept. 21. Police believe the incident was targeted and say there is a heavy police presence on scene as officers respond and investigate.
Members of the public are asked to stay away from the vicinity while the investigation remains active.
Police say an update will be provided as more details become available.
