The public hearing regarding Bylaw No. 17-2026 will take place on Monday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. in council chambers at city hall (4420 50 Ave.). Residents can also stream the proceedings live online at Lloydminster.ca/Livestream.
If approved, the bylaw would amend Land Use Bylaw 05-2025. According to municipal officials, the proposed changes are intended to improve clarity and consistency across city guidelines while reducing administrative red tape.
Members of the public are invited to participate in the hearing by making verbal or written submissions during the council meeting, either with or without advance notice.
Those wishing to have their submissions included in the official council agenda must notify legislative services by 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19. All submitted materials will form part of the permanent public record.
For additional information on the draft bylaw, residents can contact Legislative Services at 780-871-8328. Details on hearing procedures are available at Lloydminster.ca/ProcedureBylaw.
