Michael Tetz passed away peacefully at Wetaskiwin, Alberta on January 13, 2024 at the age of 55 years after a courageous fight with Cancer.
Michael will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Carey, his parents Gordon and Patricia Tetz, mother-in-law Linda Hughes (Larry), father-in-law John (Irene), his brother Jayson Tetz (Melanie), and his niece Brooklyn Tetz.
He will also be remembered and loved by his children Kristen Tetz, Tammi Bevins (David), Brandon (Stephanie), Aaron and Emma and grandfather to Lydia and Elsie Bevins.
He was also stepfather to Chantelle, Devon, Alexander (Keeana); and step grandfather to Gracelyn, Madelyn, Lily, Emmerson, Theo, Aubriella, and Andrea. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Michael was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on September 26, 1968. He took all of his schooling in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and graduated from Lloydminster Comprehensive high school.
He trained for and became a Red Seal Chef. He also was a third year electrician. He worked hard at whatever he set out to do. Many of his jobs were in camps up north.
He loved to cheer for the Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton football team. He also loved camping and spending time with his family.
The funeral for Michael was held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Leduc, Alberta on January 25, 2024. Interment followed at Leduc City Cemetery.
