The Lloydminster Bobcats are back in action this weekend for a doubleheader against the top teams in the AJHL north.
The 'Cats (16-11-1) host the Grande Prairie Storm (18-9-1-1) on Jan. 3 and the Whitecourt Wolverines (22-7-1-) on Jan. 4.
The Wolverines top the Alberta Junior Hockey League North standings with 46 points. The Storm sit second with 38 points just ahead of the 'Cats at 36. Start time is 7:30 p.m. for both games this weekend.
The Bobcats have another doubleheader next weekend as the Canmore Eagles and Drayton Valley Thunder roll into town. The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Jan. 11 and 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 12.
