Two people are dead after a small plane crashed just north of Vermilion on June 21.
Vermilion RCMP were called to the crash site around 12:24 p.m. Officers found the wreckage about 1.2 kilometres short of the local airport runway.

The victims have been identified as a 46-year-old woman from Slave Lake, Alta., who was the pilot, and a 76-year-old man from Mannville, Alta., who was a passenger. Both died at the scene.
The Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
RCMP offered condolences to the families and friends of those killed.
